One of only ten 3.8-litre Series I E-Types built to fast-road specification, evocatively finished in the spirit of Jaguar’s legendary Lightweight racers of the early 1960s.
One of only ten

This rare Jaguar is one of only ten Lightweight Zealia Engineering E-Types, built with fibreglass bodywork over a steel monocoque.
Moving from left to right

An original left-hand-drive 1963 3.8-Litre Roadster, factory-finished in its striking Primrose Yellow with a black interior. Now converted to right-hand-drive.
Triple action

It’s black removable hardtop, enhances both its versatility and classic appeal. The 3 windshield wipers provide legal coverage.
True endurance racing engine

The original 3.8-litre engine, rebuilt to dry sump competition specification and fed by triple Weber 45 DCOE carburettors with period-style mesh trumpets.
Hat trick at Le Mans

The Le Mans–style fuel filler cap and vented rear deck scoop are typical of lightweight, competition-inspired builds. The decals on rear window commemorate Jaguar’s hat trick at Le Mans, with consecutive 1st place finishes in 1955, 1956, and 1957.
Fresh air

Tubing is for heater/ventilation ducting that channels air from the bonnet intake into the cabin. The bonnet lamp illuminates the engine bay when the bonnet is raised. Body tag/plate provides factory information such as paint or body numbers.
Trunk room

Room to spare, also visible is the converted right-handed steering wheel.
3-eared spinners

These original racing E-Type wheels are peg-drive Dunlops with 3-eared spinners.
A dash of class

Dashboard mounted with classic Smiths gauges (amps, fuel, oil pressure, water temperature) paired with toggle switches and a Lucas ignition. The badges on the panel (“Lister Cambridge” and “The Rudy Trophy Garage”) are particularly interesting.
A machine engineered for both beauty and speed

This 1963 Jaguar E-Type Roadster represents an attractive combination of original specification and sympathetic competition-inspired upgrades. Retaining its authentic colour scheme and iconic Series I details, yet enhanced with performance modifications, it is equally at home on the open road or at historic driving events.
