Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has never been shy about doing things his own way, whether that’s inside a cage or behind the wheel of one of his cars. So when he showed up with a mint green Nissan Silvia sporting an exhaust pipe that shot straight up past the roofline, it fit the moment perfectly.
The Bosozoku-style build, a Japanese street culture trend known for exaggerated, oversized exhaust setups, is meant to turn heads rather than blend in. Rampage’s version did exactly that the moment the trailer door opened and the shop crew got their first look at the car.
What followed was a back-and-forth that turned into one of the more entertaining car reveals, with the shop’s host making it very clear he wanted nothing to do with the modification.
A Reveal That Did Not Go as Planned
As soon as the trailer opened, the host reacted with disbelief, asking what exactly he was looking at and who had done it. Rampage, clearly proud of the build, walked up and defended it immediately, calling it the coolest thing anyone was going to see on a car outside of a video game.
The host was not convinced. He told Rampage flatly not to bring the car into the shop looking like that, capping it off with a blunt “grown ass man with that exhaust.” Rampage did not back down from it.
Rampage Stands by the Build
Rampage defended the exhaust by pointing to its origins, explaining that it was Japanese and that he had pulled the inspiration straight from Grand Theft Auto. He argued that nobody else had anything like it, treating that as the entire point of the modification rather than a flaw.
The host was unmoved, telling Rampage that nobody wanted an exhaust like that and suggesting he throw it away entirely. Despite the roasting, the exchange stayed lighthearted, and the group was laughing together as they walked off.
A Build Made for Reactions, Not Subtlety
Modifications like this were never designed to fly under the radar. A star-shaped exhaust towering over the roofline exists purely to get a reaction, and on that front, Rampage’s Silvia delivered exactly what it was built for. Whether or not the shop ever lets the car through the door, the clip has already done what a build like this is meant to do: make people stop, stare, and argue about it.
