A remote-control balloon battle followed, ending with Chris popping his own balloon in what may be the most self-inflicted defeat of the entire day, and getting locked inside the Smart car for a Coke and Mentos finale that left the interior looking like a crime scene at a bottling plant.
A Hidden Prize Turns Into a Hot Tub
The tone shifted once a hidden golden toy car was introduced as a mid-challenge bonus. Cam found it tucked inside the Cybertruck’s front trunk and used his reward to request, of all things, a hot tub, apparently deciding that if he was going to lose feeling in his legs, he might as well do it somewhere warm. The request was granted without much resistance, and a portable tub was filled and strapped into the truck’s bed, giving Cam a spot to relax that had nothing to do with any of the actual challenges still ahead, and possibly nothing to do with good judgment either.
That same stretch produced the competition’s first real elimination. During a supply run to a Starbucks drive-thru, Chris was talked into stepping out of the vehicle under the pretense of retrieving forgotten cake pops, which is either a brilliant psychological maneuver or proof that free pastries remain undefeated as a bribery tool. The moment his feet hit the pavement, he was out, a reminder that in a contest built entirely around staying inside a car, even a snack run carried real risk.
The Cars Start Disappearing
As the hours wore on, the challenge shifted from simply staying off the ground to actively removing vehicles from play, because apparently five people fighting over three cars wasn’t chaotic enough. A tire-rolling contest gave Ben the power to eliminate the Smart car outright, narrowing the field to the Cybertruck and the sports coupe. Not long after, a water-in-the-mouth challenge inside the Cybertruck knocked out Vlad after he lost his composure and laughed first, proving that grown men can survive hammer-throwing and hot tubs but not each other’s jokes.
The field kept shrinking from there. A balance beam bribe let Cam gather a haul of tech prizes without touching the ground, turning him into the clear frontrunner and the person everyone else was quietly rooting against. A backflip cereal box challenge afterward gave Ben the power to eliminate the sports coupe as well, finally leaving the Cybertruck as the only vehicle left to fight over, which at this point felt less like a giveaway and more like a hostage situation with better lighting.
A Pull-Up Bar Decides It All
The last challenge came down to a bar suspended from the ceiling directly above the Cybertruck, with Ben, Cam, and Hannah told to hang on for as long as they could without touching the floor, a task that separates the truly committed from the merely enthusiastic. Hannah lost her grip first, followed shortly after by Ben, leaving Cam hanging alone as the final competitor still off the ground, presumably regretting every choice that led to this exact moment.
With that, Cam claimed the Cybertruck outright, adding it to a haul that already included several tech prizes gathered earlier during the balance beam challenge. For a competitor who had spent part of the day soaking in a hot tub bolted to the truck bed, it was a fitting way to close out a contest that rewarded patience and grip strength just as much as it did any single game along the way, and possibly proved that the real prize was never the truck, but the sheer stubbornness required to keep both feet off a warehouse floor for half a day.
